On June 19th, Dr. Miller presented to the Department of Psychiatry and Addiction at the University of Montreal. The day focused on deepening understanding of psychotherapy in child and adolescent psychiatry, with Dr. Miller sharing his extensive experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A).
Addressing borderline personality issues in young patients remains a challenge in child psychiatry practice. This will involve reviewing the challenges and specificities of DBT in adolescents and their families; it will also be an opportunity to highlight the complexity of managing the environment and multiple comorbid clinical presentations.
