Dr. Zac Hojnacki provides mental performance coaching for athletes to support them in sport-specific areas, including goal-setting, habit formation, performance anxiety and self- talk strategies. Dr. Hojnacki received his PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Arizona, where he studied the roles of mindfulness and anxiety in athletic performance under pressure. He was an accomplished swimmer at Arizona and competed in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. Dr. Hojnacki also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Iona University and The Pratt Institute. Noteworthy course offerings include the Psychological Aspects of Sexual Health in the Mental Health Counseling Master's program at Iona University, as well as The Psychology of Motivation at the Pratt Institute.
